As part of their New Year celebration, Sandbar have invited startrunning to contribute to the proceedings and continue to provide and present an eclectic exhibition of work.

In keeping with the tradition of such an occasion, startrunning have created a minimalist video installation, based around the clock motif, which would continue to visually evolve throughout the course of the evening. The ever-changing, abstract form that visually 'ticks' with each passing second, obviously prompts notions of the passing of time. However with no actual value being placed on any of these moments, the associated movement acts not as a means of timekeeping, but as a reminder of transition and, in the video's intended context, the countdown to a specific instant.
